McDonald’s PH to set up more stores next year
Golden Arches Development Corp., the local franchise holder for the McDonald’s restaurant chain, said it will set up more stores next year, setting aside a capital expenditure of P3 billion.
McDonald’s Philippines Managing Director Margot Torres said that from a capex of P2 billion this year, the company will have to increase its budget for next year in order to build more stores as well as incorporate more technology innovations into its services.
To be specific, McDonald’s plan to end this year with 620 stores and will add another 40 stores by next year.
“We’ve continued to innovate. You can expect more innovations for delivery. We’re committed to sticking with the brand heritage,” Torres said.
