Netizen posts shoutout to establishments to hire deaf employees
A netizen recently shared his admiration for establishments who do not discriminate against differently abled individuals and give them an equal chance to work.
In particular, Facebook user Rey-an Moreno shared a shoutout for De Original Jamaican Pattie, Fruitas and Farron Café – companies who, based on his experience hire deaf people as part of their service crew.
“Guys, let’s support companies that hire deaf people as their employees so more companies will hire them. You’ll see ID that says “hello I’m (name) I’m deaf”. This is from “De Original Jamaican Pattie Shop (cheese pinatubo) and Fruitas”. I bought at Farron Cafe before because they hire deaf people too. They give the sweetest smile too!(I showed her this post and gave me which seems like a flying kiss, is that thank you?),” he said on his wall.
Moreno said that it is very rewarding to see these employees work because they are always cheerful to the customers and are very diligent about their work.
His post has been shared by netizens close to 75,000 times in two days. Now, whoever said that social media was only full of toxicity? (ANGEL ONG)
