Get your eco-bags ready, sustainable shoppers because The Good Trade is making a comeback at the Central Square in Taguig to bring refillable stations, talks, demos and photobooths to shoppers who embrace the zero waste lifestyle.
Among the merchants who will be setting shop will be showcasing organic food, beauty products, and recycled products are Ritual (Refillables + Personal Care) -humble market (Bulk Food) -MUNI Studios (Ethical Fashion) -Daniela Calumba (Refillables & Personal Care) -Kahilom (Ethical Fashion) -Lana PH (Vegan Skincare) -Milvidas (Cause driven) -Luna Maia (Refillables & Personal Care) -Karismani Maria (Upcycled + Vegan Skincare) -Kool PH (Zero Waste Tools) -SikloPilipinas (Upcycled) -Karabella (Bulk Food/Cause-driven) -Piesa (Ethical Fashion) -Kerf and Co (Ethical Fashion).
These stalls have all established themselves as sustainable enterprises so shoppers are encouraged to bring their own eco bags, glass jars and reusable containers for their purchases.
The event showcases how sustainable businesses encourage the use of recyclable containers as opposed to disposable packaging and what impact nature friendly products have on the environment.
It also provides an avenue for civilians to pitch in make donations to sustainable causes.
