Jollibee’s Manhattan branch draws in more fans
Midtown Manhattan’s Jollibee has drawn in curious fans from different nationalities when it opened its latest branch in New York and has won the favor of most of these foodies.
AOL recently featured the “McDonald’s of the Philippines” in their latest video with their staff members Matt and Russel conducting the taste test.
After falling in line to have their turn, the duo ordered a veritable feast for themselves starting off with two buckets of Chicken Joy, multiple spaghettis, burgers and Jollibee’s halo halo sundae, a special in New York, and its signature dessert, the Peach Mango Pie.
Matt, who was from Georgia where fried chicken is a staple of life, gave his thumbs up to the Chicken Joy and praised it for being moist and juicy in the inside and crunchy and flavorful on the outside.
He also noted the difference of Jollibee’s spaghetti from the Italian and American variety. However, his favorite was the halo halo sundae and the peach mango pie which delivered a unique taste and flavor.
In the end of the video, the duo gave a huge thumbs up to Jollibee and said that it was well worth the hype. (ANGEL ONG)
