CBTL does away with bottled water and offers alternative in recyclable water boxes
With the world growing more and more concerned about the problem on plastic waste polluting our oceans, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf recently came up with a brilliant idea to come up an eco friendly and fully recyclable alternative to plastic packaging for water.
It has announced on its Facebook page that it has partnered with Tetra Pak Philippines and Generation Hope to come up with water packaged in cartons approved by no less than the Forest Stewardship Council.
CBTL will be the first in the Philippines to offer HOPE in a Box which is water contained in cartons rather than PET bottles and also supports the building of classrooms in the country as part of the proceeds go towards this cause.
“This is just one of our steps that helps us achieve our sustainability goals. We look forward to introducing more opportunities for you to #SupportSustainable in the future! Learn more about Hope in a Box, how it is recycled, and our plans this 2019 to allow you to be a part of the process: http://bit.ly/HopeInABox,” it stated on its Facebook page. This is good news indeed for Mother Nature. Score one for the planet!
